Mirza Ghalib Ki Haveli is one of the buildings of Gali Kaim
Jan which still remains the ancient character through its residential and
commercial constructions. Asadullah Khanalias Mirza Ghalib (1797-1869) shifted
to this Haveli in 1860 and continued to live here till he breathed his last. He
is highly acclaimed in Urdu and Persian poetry.

The semi circular brick arches are supported on square columns that are made in dressed Delhi Quartzite. The Haveli has lost its originality due to subdivision. The Delhi Government has recently restored this Haveli and converted into a befitting memorial s a tribute to the great poet.
