Jashn-e-Rekhta is a three-day
festival celebrating Urdu and our composite culture. It is held every year in
Delhi under the aegis of the Rekhta Foundation, a not-for-profit organization
devoted to the preservation and promotion of the languages and literature of
the Indian sub-continent.

The festival celebrates our
heritage through art forms like Ghazals, Sufi music, Qawwali, Dastaangoi, Panel
Discussions, Poetry Symposiums, Recitations, Celebrity Conversations,
Masterclasses and much more. Book exhibition, Calligraphy, Artifacts, Food
court & and a lot more.
A uniquely curated Rekhta bazaar showcases
Artifacts and merchandise. Another highlight of the festival is
“Aiwan-i-Zaiqa”, a curated food Festival that will let food lovers savor a grand feast of cuisines like Kashmiri, Awadhi, Hyderabadi, Rampuri, Mughlai
along with the finest selection of popular street food from Purani Dilli.
